  3. Peter Weyland at TED2023: I will change the world

Ridley Scott is a genius, and here is the result. Guy Pearce as Peter Weyland, holding a TED Talk in 2023, subtly introducing the themes and tone of the upcoming Alien ‘prequel’, Prometheus. Written by Damon Lindelof, and directed by Ridley Scott’s son, Luke, this viral vid seems to indicate that Prometheus, starring Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace and Guy Pearce, is even more awesome than we can possibly imagine.

    Time will tell.

  10. A Light Installation Turns Chicago’s “Bean” Into A Gigantic Disco Ball

From now until the February 20, “Cloud Gate” (a.k.a. “The Bean”), Anish Kapoor’s iconic curving sculpture in Chicago’s Millennium Park, is the site of a trippy video and sound installation whose shifting geometric shapes and colors will transform its shiny surface into an interactive light show. The effect is not unlike a ’70s disco party set to percussive music.

  11. Sticky Rice’s Sushi in Space

This was shot for a small chain of restaurants called Sticky Rice. They have a long history of doing marketing their own way and we knew they would love this idea. Email jon@rvatv.com for more info.

In collaboration with RVA TV and Bark Marketing, Sticky Rice launched a sushi plate of their popular Godzirra roll on January 1st of this year. Six months of planning and testing went into this project as a lot of variables were at play: -60F in space, FAA regulations, overheating or freezing batteries, GPS issues, stabilization, and how to make the damn sushi stay together in high winds.

Our team is hoping for national attention and plan to make a shorter commercial for local air play. We loved the Toshiba ‘Chair in Space’ commercial and it was the basis of this project wondering if it could happen on a shoe-string budget for a small business.
